Getting to Know Your System
The Radius PPG™ sensor collects your data.
Sensor
The sensor is worn on your wrist and fingertip. It continuously collects your data.
Finger tape
Replaceable adhesive tape is provided to attach the sensor to your fingertip.
Strap
The strap wraps around the wrist and has a place to snap in your chip.
Chip
The reusable chip snaps on to the strap and automatically and securely sends your data after you set up the Masimo SafetyNet App.
Use the Masimo SafetyNet App to view and share data.
- The app uses Bluetooth® to connect to your Radius PPG sensor to display oxygen saturation, pulse rate, respiration rate and other data.
- The app allows data to be shared with your care provider.
- Use the app to complete CareProgram activities. Your responses are shared with your care provider.
Setting Up the Masimo SafetyNet App
You will receive an email from your care provider prompting you to download the Masimo SafetyNet App to your mobile phone.
If you did not receive the email, please check your Junk e-mail folder in case the email got delivered there instead of your Inbox.
If you still have not received it, please contact the care provider who initiated the Masimo SafetyNet program for you.
Launch the app and follow the step-by-step instructions to:
- Create an account
- Pair your Radius PPG sensor to the Masimo SafetyNet App
- Begin collecting and sharing data
Applying the Sensor
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to apply your sensor:
- 1. Remove the yellow tab.
- 2. Attach the strap.
- 3. Apply the finger tape to your finger.
- 4. Adjust the cable length.
- 5. Snap the chip into the strap.
Pro Tips
- You can wash your hands while wearing the sensor.
- Avoid submerging in water, including the shower or bath.
- Replace the adhesive tape when it is dirty or when the adhesive is no longer sticking.
